How can I create custom reminder for task?

Create custom reminder:

  • Navigate to left menu & click on Tasks
  • On the Task List page, click on the task title
  • Click under Task Reminder section. (Refer Image-1)
  • Provide plus required details Date & time at which reminder is to be sent, users to whom reminder is to be sent and the custom message. ( Refer Image -2)
  • Click Save.
  • Users will receive a reminder via email notification.

Note:

  • Only the Owner and Admin can define task reminder.
  • Task reminder is available for all plans. However, once free trial is over, the feature will be auto-disabled.
  • You can set reminders for closed and Archived task.

You can add multiple reminders for a single task. You can follow the above steps.

Tip: Overdue Task Reminder:  You can use a Custom reminder as an overdue task reminder.  While creating reminder, you can choose Date as one day ahead of the task due date. So once the task crosses the due date, overdue notification will be received via email.

Edit Task reminder:

  • Navigate to left menu & click on Tasks
  • Click on the specific task for which you want to edit the reminder.
  • Hover on three Dot icon under Task reminder.
  • Click Edit icon- task reminder.
  • Make the required changes and click Save.

Delete Task reminder:

  • Navigate to left menu & click on Tasks.
  • Click on specific task for which you want to edit the reminder.
  • Hover on three Dot icon under Task reminder.
  • Click Task delete- reminder.
