Assets Management in CRM LEAF: Tracking and Accountability

The Assets Module in CRM LEAF helps organizations track, assign, and manage physical assets such as laptops, phones, or other equipment issued to employees. It captures asset details, status, location, and condition—supporting accountability, auditing, and lifecycle management.

How to Add Asset Information

To manually add a new asset:
Go to HRMS > Assets > Add Asset Info.

Fill out the following fields:
Asset Name: Enter the name of the asset (e.g., Laptop, iPhone).
Asset Type: Specify the asset category (e.g., Electronics, Furniture).
Serial Number: Input the unique serial number of the asset.
Value: Enter the purchase or market value of the asset.
Location: Define where the asset is stored or assigned (e.g., Bangalore Office).
Status: Choose from:
Available
Non Functional
Lost
Damaged
Under Maintenance
Asset Picture: (Optional) Upload an image of the asset.
Description: (Optional) Add remarks or usage notes.
Click Save to record the asset in the system.

Use the table to:
View and manage all registered assets.
Track asset status and location.

Exporting Asset Records

Asset data can be exported by default to Microsoft Excel for inventory reviews, audits, or reports.
Path:
Go to HRMS > Assets > Export to download the asset list.

View Assets Use the table view to browse all assets and filter by status or location.
Edit/Delete Asset Use the Action column to update or remove asset details.

Q: Can I upload an image of the asset?
A: Yes, you can upload a picture while adding or editing the asset entry.
Q: What does the status field track?
A: It tracks the asset’s condition (e.g., Available, Damaged, Lost, etc.).
Q: Can I assign assets to specific employees?
A: This may be possible if the system is configured with asset assignment features—contact your HR Admin.
