What is Attendance Settings?

The Attendance Settings module in CRM LEAF allows administrators to manage employee shift schedules, shift rotations, and attendance automation. These settings help streamline time tracking and optimise workforce scheduling for better efficiency.

Shift Rotation

Shift Rotation enables automated scheduling of employees across different shifts in a recurring cycle.

Shift Rotation Setup

Add Rotation

  • Rotation Name
  • Set Rotation Frequency
  • Color Code (e.g., #16813D)
  • Select Shift(s)

Shift Rotation Sequences

Configure how shifts rotate between employees. You can automate shift assignments by department and employee.

Add Automate Shift

  • Department
  • Employees(e.g., Abraham, Amie Green, John Williams)
  • Rotation Name

Run Shift Rotation

Manually run a configured shift rotation.

Create a Shift Rotation Go to Shift Rotation > Add Rotation, set name, frequency, and shifts.
Assign Automated Shifts Use Automate Shifts to assign shifts by department and employee.
Add Employee Shift Navigate to Employee Shifts, click Add, and define shift timings.
Run a Shift Rotation Go to Run Shift Rotation, select the desired rotation, and execute it.
Enable Rotation Notifications Enable toggle while creating or editing a rotation.

Q: Can I assign multiple shifts to the same employee?
A: Yes, using automated shift sequences, employees can be assigned rotating shifts.
Q: What happens if I enable “Replace existing shift”?
A: It will override any previously assigned shifts for selected employees with the new rotation.
Q: How do notifications work in shift rotation?
A: If enabled, employees will receive notifications when a new rotation is scheduled.
Q: Can I view past shift rotations?
A: This feature displays only active or configured shift rotations. Past logs may be found in attendance history.
