# How to Delete a Task from Gantt Chart?

1.  Log in to your OrangeScrum account.
2.  Hover on the “more” option from the left menu.
3.  Click on  **Gantt chart** .
4.  Select the required project from the project drop-down.
5.  Click ![cross icon](/images/help/2019/06/cross-icon.png "Cross Icon") icon against specific task you want to delete.
6.   It will provide warning message saying “Task will be deleted permanently, are you sure?”. Click  **Ok** to delete the task.(Image-1)
