Payroll Processing and Salary Overview in HRMS

The Payroll Module in CRM LEAF allows HR teams to manage employee salaries, generate payroll cycles, and track payments efficiently. With options to filter by year, month, department, or individual employees, it provides a streamlined way to calculate pay, view salary breakdowns, and export data for compliance or accounting.

How to Generate Payroll

  • To generate payroll for selected employees:
  • Go to HRMS > Payroll > Generate Payroll.
  • Fill out the following fields:
  • Select Year: Choose the relevant payroll year.
  • Salary Cycle: Select the applicable salary cycle (e.g., Monthly).
  • Select Month: Choose the payroll month (e.g., May).
  • Department: (Optional) Filter by department to narrow down the employee list.
  • Select Employee: Choose one or more employees from the list
  • Click Generate Payroll to process salaries.

  • Monitor salary processing for each employee.
  • Track net pay, cost-to-company (CTC), duration, and payment date.
  • Update or take action on payroll status.

Action How To
Generate Payroll Select Year, Salary Cycle, Month, Employees, then click Generate Payroll.
Filter by Department Use the Department filter to narrow down employee lists.
View Payroll Table Review payroll status, CTC, and payment history for each employee.
Edit Payroll Use the Action column to update entries before finalizing.
Export Payroll (Optional) Export payroll data to Excel for reporting or audit.

Q: Can I generate payroll for a specific department only?
A: Yes, use the Department filter before selecting employees.
Q: What happens if I regenerate payroll for the same month?
A: The previous record can be updated or overwritten, depending on settings.
Q: Can I adjust payroll before finalizing it?
A: Yes, use the Edit option to update net salary, duration, or payment status.
Q: What does CTC mean?
A: Cost To Company – the total value of compensation, including benefits and deductions.
