Product Management in CRM Leaf: Adding, Tracking, and Exporting

The Products section in CRM Leaf is used to manage all items or services your business sells or uses in operations. It includes full product details, pricing, stock levels, and sales settings. This feature helps businesses track inventory, manage pricing, and organize product data efficiently.
A Product can be either a physical good or a service. Each product record stores detailed information to support inventory management, sales, and reporting.
Key product fields include:
- Product Image – Upload a photo or image of the product for easy identification.
- Product Price– The selling price offered to clients.
- Cost Price – The internal cost to your business for the item.
- Stock on Hand – The current quantity of the product available in inventory.
- Unit Type – The unit in which the product is measured or sold (e.g., piece, kg, hour).
- Client Can Purchase – A setting that determines if the product is available for client orders.
- Status – Indicates if the product is active or inactive.
- Product Type Code– A unique code or SKU used to identify the product.
- Manufacturer – Name of the company or supplier that manufactures the product.
- Action – Options to edit, delete, or update product information.
How to Add a Product

To add a new product:
- Go to Work > Products.
- Click Add Product.
Complete the following sections:
- Type
Select whether the item is a Good (physical product) or a Service (non-tangible).
- Basic Details
Name– Enter the product or service name.
- SKU – Stock Keeping Unit, a unique identifier for tracking.
- Unit Type – Define how the product is measured (e.g., unit, box, hour).
- Product Category / Sub Category – Organize products into categories for better filtering and management.
- Sales Information
- Selling Price (USD) – Price at which the item is sold to customers.
- Cost Price (USD) – Internal purchase or production cost of the product.
- Tax – Select applicable tax rates (e.g., GST, CGST, VAT, IGST, UTGST). Multiple rates are available based on regional tax requirements.
- Note: Inventory tracking cannot be turned on or off after transactions have been recorded for the product. Plan your settings accordingly before saving.
- Description
- Add a clear and concise description of the product or service for internal and client reference.
Add Images
- Upload one or more images to visually represent the product.
Export Products

All products can be exported by default in Excel (.xlsx) format, allowing you to:
- Back up your product data
- Share it with other teams
- Import it into other systems or tools
