Timesheet Management in CRMLEAF: Logging, Tracking, and Billing Work Hours

A Timesheet is a digital record of the time employees spend working on various tasks and projects. CRM Leaf’s timesheet feature helps track work hours, calculate billable time, and ensure accurate invoicing and payroll. Whether you manage a team or log your own hours, timesheets keep time tracking organized and efficient.
How to Log Time

- To log time manually, go to Work > Timesheets and click Add Time Entry. Fill in the following fields:
- TimeLog Details
- Project:Select the project associated with the time entry.
- Task:Choose the specific task the employee worked on.
- Employee:Select the employee logging the time.
- Start Date:The date when the work session began.
- Start Time:The exact time the employee started the task.
- End Date:The date the work session ended.
- End Time:The exact time the employee stopped working on the task.
- Memo:Add any notes or context about the work done during this time.
- Total Hours:Automatically calculated based on start and end times.
Timesheet Overview
Each timesheet entry includes the following columns:
- Code
A unique identifier for the timesheet entry.
- Task
The task linked to the time entry.
- Employee
Who logged the time.
- Start Time / End Time
- When the task began and ended.
Total Hours Total time spent on the task.
- Earnings
Calculated based on hourly rate and hours worked.
- Action
Options to edit or delete the entry.
- Weekly Time sheets
CRM Leaf supports Weekly Time sheet Management, which includes:
- Add Weekly Time sheet
Log work entries across multiple days for a single employee.
- Approve Time sheet
Managers or supervisors can review and approve submitted time sheets before processing payroll or invoices.
Time sheet Calendar View

You can view time sheet entries in a calendar format by navigating to Work > Time sheets > Calendar View.
Options include:
- Month – Overview of time entries for the full month.
- Week – Time entries grouped by week.
- Day – Detailed view of daily logged hours.
- List – Tabular format showing all entries.
Employee Timelogs

The Employee Timelogs section provides a detailed log of all time entries submitted by each employee. This view helps HR, payroll, or project managers monitor productivity and ensure time is accurately recorded.
How It Works

The Time sheet Life cycle in CRM Leaf follows this flow:
- Work – Employees perform their assigned tasks.
- Time sheet – Time is logged against specific tasks and projects.
- Log Time for Tasks – Entries are created and stored.
- Billable / Non-Billable – Each time entry is marked as billable or non-billable.
- Include Time Entry in Invoice – Billable hours are pulled into client invoices.
- Get Paid – Invoices are sent and payments are collected.
