Handling Sales Pipelines Through the Deals Module

Overview
The Deals module helps you manage sales opportunities from initial contact to closing. It tracks deal progress, value, and key details across your pipeline.

How to Add a Deal
To add a new deal, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Deals section.
2. Click Add Deal.
3. Fill in the required fields as outlined below.
4. Click Save.

  • Deal Fields 
  • Deal Name: A unique name to identify the deal.
  • Pipeline: Select the appropriate sales pipeline.
  • Deal Stages: Choose the current stage in your pipeline (e.g. Prospecting, Negotiation, Won).
  • Deal Value: Enter the monetary value of the deal in USD.
  • Close Date: Expected date to close the deal. **Format: YYYY-MM-DD** (e.g. 2025-06-18).
  • Deal Category: Classify the deal based on your internal sales categories.
  • Deal Agent: Assign the responsible sales agent.
  • Products: List products or services linked to this deal.
  • RFP: Attach or reference any Request for Proposal documents.
  • Lead Contacts: Link one or more contacts associated with the deal.

Importing Deals
You can import deals in bulk using an Excel or CSV file.
Steps:
1. Click Import Deal.
2. Upload your file (formats supported: `.xls`, `.xlsx`, `.csv`).
3. Ensure the date is in YYYY-MM-DD format.
4. Map fields correctly and confirm the import.

Exporting Deals
Deals can be exported in Excel format by default. Use this for reporting or backup purposes.
