Managing Deals with the CRM Kanban Board

The Kanban Board provides a dynamic, visual representation of your sales pipeline. It organizes deals into clearly defined stages, making it easier for sales teams to track progress, manage workloads, and optimise conversions. With intuitive drag-and-drop functionality and powerful filtering options, the Kanban Board turns complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Core Components of the Kanban Board
- Duration Selector
Set a specific time range using Start Date to End Date.
This defines the reporting period for deals displayed on the board.
- Pipeline
Choose the pipeline you want to view or manage.
Each pipeline has its own set of stages tailored to your sales process.
- Category & Product
Filter deals by category (e.g., new business, renewal, upsell) and associated products.
Use the Start Typing to Search bar for quick access.
- Filters Panel
Date Filter On– Apply date-based filters for better timeline control.
Deal Value Filter– Enter a minimum and maximum deal value to display only relevant opportunities.
Agent – Filter deals by assigned sales agents.
Deal Watcher – View deals being monitored by specific team members.
Lead – Filter by associated leads.
- Deal Stages
Each column on the Kanban board represents a deal stage in your pipeline, such as:

Initial Contact

Lost
Users can drag deals from one stage to another as they move through the sales process.
Add Deal
- You can quickly create new deals directly from the Kanban Board by clicking Add Deal.
- This opens a structured input form to capture all relevant deal information, ensuring nothing is missed.
- Add Stage:Need to customize your pipeline Use the Add Stage option to introduce new stages specific to your sales cycle.
- Add New Deal Stage Form Includes:
- Pipeline – Select the pipeline this new stage belongs to.
- Deal Stage Name– Enter a clear, descriptive name for the new stage.
- Label Color – Choose a color to visually differentiate the stage for easier tracking.
- New stages will appear as additional columns in the Kanban view and can be reordered or renamed as needed.
