By default Orangescrum Project management Tool comes with 4 task statuses – New, In-progress, Resolved, Closed.

In order to [make your own workflow](https://helpdesk.orangescrum.com/how-can-i-make-custom-workflow-or-task-status/) for the project, you will need the ‘Status workflow setting’.

With ‘**Status workflow setting** ’, you can:

1.  Create your own workflow and unlimited task status.
2.  Add progress weight & color code each of task status.
3.  Add your custom workflow to individual projects.
4.  Quickly update task status to keep everyone on the same page.
