What Project Templates are Available in OrangeScrum? and how can I Choose A Specific Project Template for My Project?
There are 8 types of project templates available in Orangescrum:-
- Simple
- Scrum
- Kanban
- Bug Tracking
- Content Management
- Task Tracking
- Recruitment
- Procurement
You can choose the project template as per your project type. With each project type, the workflow will be auto-selected adding relevant tasks status to the project. However, you can choose your own workflow. You can find below options in each project template.
- Simple:-
This project template comes with Default status workflow which includes task status as New, Inprogress, Resolved & Close.
With this template, your task list will be landing in the list view page. However, you can change to any view say Calendar view, Task group, Kanban, Sub-task view as per your requirements.
Simple project template helps to:-

- Manage and track status your tasks in a list view
- Delegate tasks easily to assign tasks to teams
- Monitor team’s activity at one place
- Scrum:-
Similar to Simple, you will be having Default Status workflow in Scrum project template.
However, in Scrum, you will be having Active Sprint, Reports such as Velocity Report, Sprint Reports etc. You can find more details about the Scrum project template here.
Scrum project template helps to:-

- Visualize the content flow from plan to publish
- Manage all content tasks in one board
- Customize your content lifecycle with workflow
- Kanban:-
When you are adding the Kanban project template to a project, the default view of the task list will be in the Kanban board and task statuses in the project will appear as columns with tasks associated with that status under it.
Kanban will have drag-drop feature for the tasks, which means you can drag & drop the task cards to change its status.
Additionally, you can get the total task count in terms of status.

- Bug Tracking:–
Manage all your bugs & issues with pre-defined bug tracking workflow.
With the Bug tracking template, you will have a Board available. Similar to the Kanban view, you will have the following task status- Backlog, Ready, In-progress, Done.
Bug tracking template helps QA team to:

- Content Management:-
Plan & release contents with a pre-defined review & approval process.
Similarly, for Content Management, you will have the following predefined task status with Content Management workflow-Open, In-progress, Approved, Cancelled & Rejected.

With Recruitment project template, you will have the following workflow or task status- Application, Screening, Interviewing, Interview offer, Offer discussion, Accepted, Rejected.

- Procurement:-

How can I Choose A Specific Project Template for My Project?
You can add a project template by following below steps:-
- Click on Quick links> Project
- Provide Project name, short name, priority etc.
- Click on Project Template drop-down to select a project template. By default, the associated relevant workflow will be auto-selected.
- If you need to use your own workflow, then you can select it from workflow drop-down.
- Provide estimated hour & date range details & click Create
Note: Once the project is created, you will not be able to edit the Project Template.
